Description
This is a payable software upgrade option for the KR55 Key Maker that adds the ability to program a new KR55 Flip Key, with integrated remote, in a situation when a "valet" or transponder only key is available, and you do not have a working remote to the vehicle. In the past, eprom reading was required to accomplish this, but this software upgrade now eliminates the need for eprom reading. This software upgrade works on all Mercedes Vehicles, covered by the KR55 Keymaker, that use a PCF7935 Transponder.
Please note: Your KR55 must be upgraded to software version 2.0 or higher in order to be able to purchase this Scan PCF7935 Upgrade.
Please provide the serial number of your KR55 Key Maker (see steps below); it takes 1-2 business days to process the activation.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Start your MB remote Keymaker software
2. Make sure MB Remote Key Maker software is version 2.0 or higher.
3. Click the "Serial Number" button
4. The serial number will appear in the new window
5. Please copy this number and enter it in the serial number field when placing the order or email it to specialorders@iks.us
6. After you receive 2 license files via email, save them in the same folder where the MB Remote Key Maker software is.
7. Start MB remote Keymaker software and press the UPDATE button
8. Select "Yes" in the window "Are you Sure?"
9. After the license is loaded, restart MB Remote Key Maker software
